After 1 January 2020, a provisional driver will no longer be able to increase their demerit point threshold through attending a provisional driver training course (such as P-Off) To get a learner driver licence in the ACT you must: Be at least 15 years and 9 months. A friend of mine who moved away to A.C.T came back in the uni holidays and told me about this course they can do called P-Off Course, which allows them to basically drive with a P's license, but not display P-plates and also gain an extra 4 demerit points.
